Description

General Description: Reporting server shows an error on the validity of the openit license for
report generation, though the license is valid. This issue occurs when using a permanent openit
license.

Detailed Description: This patch fixes the issue on generating reports using permanent license in
WCS because of the different encryption methods involved when encoding the Unix and Windows hostid.

Patch 1209 — Fix for inability to generate reports using permanent license 
There are completely different encryption methods involved when encoding the Unix and Windows
hostid. This issue resulted to the inability to generate reports using permanent license in WCS.

This patch will include a fix for this problem.

Installation

Unpack the zip file anywhere on the machine to patch.
Run install.exe to start installation.
Once the patch has been installed, you may delete the unpacked directory.

NOTE: The patch must be installed by a user with administrator rights.
