Some files in the archive for data type 31 and 32 will in rare instances get some trailing garbage after the end of the data. This caused archiver to crash without processing new incoming files. This fix lets the archiver correct the problem by ignoring trailing characters in compressed files. The cause of the problem is likely to be in the compression library (Zlib) which perl uses and only seem to occur on the Solaris platform.
Replace the file /opt/openit/libexec/bin/archiver with the provided file. No restart of the Open iT client is necessary.
