When running lmstat takes a lot of time (many and/or heave license files) occasionally a licpoll would not terminate after it's processing time (one hour)was finished. After the first instance experienced this problem, all consecutive instances would also "hang". This fixes this problem. The patch also replaces the intra process locking mechanism with thread mutex's instead of semaphores.
Unpack tar file in e.g /tmp/patch on the Open iT host. Do the following as root: cd /tmp/patch ./patch.pl
