Description

Support for rotation by Sun Grid Engine accounting logs.

NOTE: If there are old bookmarks for sgeacct_to_psm, they will be
ported to a new format. For this to work, the client and the
sgeacct_to_psm must not be running. The patch will abort if either of
them are running. The check looks for the binary names in the ps
output.

Patch 584 — Job status of SGE accounting 
The Unix exit status in the Job status field of the Grid Engine data
type used to be the original value shifted by 8 bits. This shifting
has now been taken away.

Installation

Unpack tar file in e.g /tmp/patch on the Open iT client. Do the 
following as root:

  cd /tmp/patch
  ./patch.pl
